Provide workshops for grieving parents on coping mechanisms, emotional healing, and self-care. Distribute literature and online resources on infant loss and stillbirth to educate families and the broader community.
Deliver care packages to grieving families that include items such as comfort books, journals, keepsakes, and information about available support services.
Offer grants and financial assistance to cover funeral and memorial service expenses, medical bills related to the loss, and other associated costs.

Greetings to you and your family during this most difficult time.
Our names are Michael and Tahijia Newkirk, founders of the MJ Newkirk Foundation. We started this foundation after our own personal experience of a stillborn birth. October 31, 2023 proved to be one of the most devastating days of ours lives as our little Michael J Newkirk (MJ) was born at 26 weeks gestation, with no heartbeat. However, instead of reliving those moments in grief, we have designed a way to turn his memory into a lasting legacy.
